Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of retail associates to consistently achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets, KPIs, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Act as the Manager on Duty, overseeing all daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash management, and ensuring seamless floor functionality.
  • Champion an exceptional customer service culture by leading by example, actively engaging with clients, and empowering the team to resolve issues and build lasting relationships.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team environment through continuous coaching, constructive feedback, and the recognition of individual and team achievements.
  • Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, onboarding, and delivering comprehensive training programs for new team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies.
  • Drive sales by analyzing performance metrics and sales reports to identify trends, communicate goals, and implement actionable strategies with the team.
  • Manage complex customer escalations with professionalism and empathy, turning potentially negative situations into positive brand experiences.
  • Facilitate engaging daily team huddles and regular meetings to communicate business objectives, promotional updates, and key company information.
  • Ensure all team members consistently adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and loss prevention procedures to maintain a secure and compliant workplace.
  • Serve as the ultimate product knowledge expert, staying current on all product features and benefits to effectively train the team and drive customer confidence.
  • Partner with the management team to develop and execute store-level strategies designed to increase foot traffic, improve conversion rates, and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, including register balancing, bank deposits, and change orders, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and security.
  • Conduct regular performance check-ins with direct reports to discuss progress, set meaningful development goals, and create action plans for career growth within the company.

Secondary Functions

  • Assist the Store Manager in creating weekly staff schedules to ensure optimal floor coverage while adhering to labor budgets.
  • Participate in and help coordinate regular inventory cycle counts and annual stocktakes to maintain data accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
  • Support the execution of visual merchandising directives from the corporate office, including seasonal floor sets and promotional window displays.
  • Actively manage floor coverage and zoning to ensure associates are positioned effectively to meet customer needs and prevent theft.
  • Contribute to store meetings by reporting on team performance, sharing customer feedback, and suggesting operational improvements.
  • Support the rollout and team adoption of new in-store technologies, systems, or operational processes.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs for key products to the inventory or management team.
  • Ensure the sales floor and back-of-house areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with all health and safety standards.

  • Point of Sale (POS) Systems: Proficiency in operating retail POS software for transactions, returns, and reporting.
  • Inventory Management: Experience with inventory control software, cycle counts, and stock replenishment processes.

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
