Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance a suite of sales dashboards and reports to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as pipeline velocity, conversion rates, quota attainment, and ARR growth.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales performance by region, territory, team, and individual representative to identify areas of opportunity and underperformance.

  • Automate and streamline reporting and analysis workflows to increase efficiency and allow for more time spent on strategic, high-impact analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer data to identify potential risks and strategic growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Finance and Marketing departments to ensure alignment on critical metrics, shared goals, and cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive win/loss analysis to understand the key factors driving deal outcomes, providing actionable feedback to the sales, product, and marketing teams.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of calculating and tracking sales commissions and variable compensation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Cleanse, merge, and transform data from disparate sources (CRM, ERP, marketing automation platforms) to create a unified view of the customer and sales funnel.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation for sales processes, metric definitions, and reporting standards to ensure organizational consistency.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel: Mastery of pivot tables, complex formulas, VLOOKUP/INDEX(MATCH), and data modeling is essential.
  • CRM Proficiency: Deep experience with a major CRM platform, especially Salesforce (including reporting, dashboards, and data structure).
  • Business Intelligence (BI) Tools: Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Qlik.
  • SQL: Strong proficiency in writing SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
