Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value opportunities, analyzing search volume, competition, and user intent to guide content and SEO strategies.
  • Perform in-depth on-page SEO analysis and optimization, including meta tags, header structure, content quality, keyword density, and internal linking to improve relevance and user experience.
  • Execute detailed technical SEO audits to identify and rectify issues related to website crawlability, indexation, site architecture, mobile-friendliness, and page speed.
  • Develop and implement robust link-building campaigns through outreach, content marketing, and relationship building to acquire high-quality, relevant backlinks.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key SEO performance indicators (KPIs) such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, click-through rates (CTR), and conversion rates using tools like GA4 and Google Search Console.
  • Perform regular, in-depth competitor analysis to benchmark performance, identify strategic gaps, and discover new opportunities for growth in the SERPs.
  • Collaborate closely with the content creation and marketing teams to ensure all new content is optimized for search engines from inception.
  • Provide actionable recommendations for content structure, topics, and formats based on SEO best practices and data-driven insights.
  • Manage and optimize local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profile listings, to improve visibility in local search results.
  • Stay consistently updated on the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and industry best practices to ensure our strategy remains cutting-edge and effective.
  • Implement and manage structured data (Schema.org markup) to enhance search engine result page (SERP) features and click-through rates.
  • Manage the website’s robots.txt file and XML sitemaps to ensure optimal crawling and indexing by search engines.
  • Analyze SERP layouts and features to devise strategies for capturing featured snippets, People Also Ask boxes, and other rich results.
  • Work alongside web developers and IT teams to ensure technical SEO recommendations are implemented correctly and efficiently.
  • Conduct backlink profile analysis to identify toxic links and manage the disavow process to maintain a healthy and authoritative domain.
  • Create and present clear, insightful SEO performance reports and dashboards for key stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable business intelligence.
  • Optimize website images for search engines by compressing files, using descriptive filenames, and implementing appropriate alt text.
  • Develop and execute a strategy for internal link building to distribute page authority and improve site navigation for both users and search crawlers.
  • Analyze user behavior data from analytics platforms to understand how visitors interact with the site and identify areas for SEO and UX improvement.
  • Assist in planning and executing content migration projects, ensuring SEO equity is preserved through proper redirect mapping and technical checks.
  • Support the creation of SEO-driven landing pages for marketing campaigns to maximize organic reach and conversion potential.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Deep proficiency with core SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz Pro, Screaming Frog).
  • Strong hands-on experience with web analytics platforms, particularly Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console.
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO principles including crawlability, indexation, site speed, and schema markup.
  • Experience working with various Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or similar platforms.
  • Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and how they impact SEO performance.
  • Expertise in advanced keyword research, competitor analysis, and strategic implementation.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
