Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop, write, and schedule a high volume of engaging social media content, including original text, images, and videos, that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of all company social media accounts, such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Maintain and meticulously follow a detailed social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent and strategic posting schedule across all platforms.
  • Actively monitor social media channels for brand mentions, customer inquiries, comments, and reviews, responding in a timely and professional manner to foster a positive community experience.
  • Proactively engage with our online community by liking, commenting on, and sharing relevant user-generated content and industry posts to build relationships and increase brand visibility.
  • Track and analyze key social media metrics and KPIs (e.g., engagement rate, reach, follower growth, click-through rates) to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports, providing clear insights and data-driven recommendations for optimizing future content and strategy.
  • Stay current with the latest social media best practices, platform updates, emerging technologies, and digital marketing trends to ensure our strategy remains competitive and innovative.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader marketing, creative, and PR teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated brand message across all communication channels.
  • Source and curate compelling user-generated content (UGC) that can be repurposed to highlight customer stories and build social proof.
  • Monitor online conversations and social trends relevant to our industry, identifying opportunities for reactive content and real-time marketing.
  • Execute social media campaigns and contests from conception to completion, including promotion, monitoring, and winner selection, to drive engagement and audience growth.
  • Assist in the creation of visual assets, such as simple graphics, GIFs, and short-form videos, using tools like Canva, Adobe Express, or mobile editing apps.
  • Perform social listening to gauge audience sentiment, identify potential customer service issues, and gather feedback for product and service improvements.
  • Ensure all social media content is proofread, fact-checked, and adheres strictly to brand guidelines, style, quality, and tone of voice.

Secondary Functions

  • Support the Social Media Manager in developing and refining the overarching social media strategy and long-term content pillars.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of influencer marketing campaigns, including identifying potential partners and tracking deliverables.
  • Provide support for paid social media advertising campaigns by assisting with audience targeting, ad copy, and performance monitoring.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to benchmark our performance and identify new opportunities or potential threats in the social landscape.
  • Help manage and organize the digital asset library, ensuring all creative content is easily accessible for the marketing team.
  • Support ad-hoc data requests and exploratory data analysis.
  • Contribute to the organization's content strategy and marketing roadmap by providing insights from the social media community.
