Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Actively partner with recruiters to understand the specific needs and nuances of open roles to effectively identify qualified candidates.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), to build a diverse pipeline of passive and active talent.
  • Conduct initial resume and application reviews, meticulously screening candidates against the core competencies and qualifications of the job description.
  • Perform initial outreach and introductory calls (phone screens) to assess candidate interest, availability, and basic qualifications.
  • Master the art of complex scheduling by coordinating intricate interview loops involving candidates, hiring managers, and multiple team members across different time zones.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, ensuring they have a positive, informed, and seamless experience.
  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience by providing timely updates, clear communication, and a welcoming presence.
  • Gain expertise in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), such as Greenhouse or Lever, ensuring all candidate data is tracked accurately and is up-to-date.
  • Prepare and post compelling job descriptions on company career pages, university job boards, and other relevant professional platforms.
  • Provide logistical support for both virtual and in-person recruiting events, including career fairs, tech talks, and open houses.
  • Assist in the creation and extension of offer letters, ensuring all details are accurate and documentation is handled professionally.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires by coordinating pre-employment tasks and ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
  • Contribute to various employer branding initiatives by helping manage content for platforms like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, or the company careers blog.
  • Collaborate on special projects related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within the hiring process.
  • Conduct market research on talent trends, competitor hiring practices, and compensation benchmarks to support recruiting strategies.
  • Help build and maintain talent pipelines for frequently filled or future roles, creating a ready pool of qualified candidates.
  • Manage candidate interview-related travel and expense reimbursement processes with a high degree of accuracy and care.
  • Participate actively in team strategy meetings, providing insights from your interactions with the candidate market.
  • Assist in gathering and compiling key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and source-of-hire, for team reports.
  • Learn and uphold best practices in recruitment, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Secondary Functions

  • Support ad-hoc data requests and exploratory data analysis related to talent acquisition metrics.
  • Contribute to the organization's data strategy and roadmap by ensuring clean data entry and management within the ATS.
  • Collaborate with business units to translate data needs into engineering requirements, particularly for HR analytics tools.
  • Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies within the data engineering team if supporting technical recruiting analytics.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Productivity Suite Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets) for scheduling, communication, and data tracking.
  • ATS Familiarity: Prior experience or the ability to quickly learn Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday) is a significant advantage.
  • Sourcing Platforms: Understanding of or experience with professional networking and sourcing tools, especially LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Data Management: Meticulous data entry skills and the ability to maintain the integrity of information within various HR systems.

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
