Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Direct and oversee all daily studio operations to ensure efficiency, professionalism, and a high-quality customer experience from entry to exit.
  • Meticulously manage the studio's master schedule, coordinating complex appointments for multiple resident and guest artists to optimize booking capacity and minimize client wait times.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all client communications, handling inquiries, consultations, booking confirmations, and feedback with a consistently high level of service.
  • Manage the studio's financial health, including daily cash handling, processing payments, payroll administration, budgeting, and analyzing profit and loss statements.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all studio supplies, including inks, needles, medical supplies, and retail products, managing supplier relationships and placing orders to prevent shortages.
  • Enforce and maintain the absolute highest standards of health, safety, and sanitation, ensuring full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and Bloodborne Pathogen standards.
  • Develop and execute the studio's marketing strategy, managing all social media channels, website updates, email newsletters, and promotional campaigns to drive new business and engage the community.
  • Lead all aspects of staff management, including the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new artists and support staff, ensuring a strong cultural fit.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and foster professional development opportunities to build a motivated, high-performing team.
  • Ensure the studio's physical environment is impeccably clean, organized, and aesthetically aligned with the brand's identity, managing all maintenance and facility needs.
  • Administer all client-facing administrative tasks, including the proper completion of consent forms, waivers, and aftercare instructions, maintaining meticulous and confidential records.
  • Act as a lead mediator for any client or staff conflicts, addressing issues with tact, empathy, and professionalism to find effective resolutions.
  • Curate and manage a guest artist program, handling all logistics from outreach and scheduling to contracts and travel arrangements.
  • Oversee the studio's retail and merchandise section, including product selection, visual merchandising, and sales strategies to generate additional revenue streams.
  • Plan and execute studio events, such as artist showcases, flash days, and community charity drives, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Handle all opening and closing procedures for the studio, including cash reconciliation, securing the premises, and preparing for the next business day.
  • Analyze key business metrics, such as booking rates, artist productivity, and retail sales, preparing regular reports for studio ownership.
  • Build and nurture positive, long-term relationships with clients, turning first-time visitors into loyal patrons of the studio and its artists.

Experience Requirements
