Primary Functions

  • Deliver an exceptional level of customer service by professionally greeting passengers, confirming their destination, assisting with luggage or mobility aids, and maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor.
  • Accurately operate the taxi meter and other fare-calculation equipment, ensuring transparency with passengers regarding the cost of the trip.
  • Securely and accurately process a variety of payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payment applications, providing correct change and issuing receipts as required.
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, meticulously checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and signals to ensure the vehicle is in safe, road-worthy condition.
  • Maintain the vehicle in a state of impeccable cleanliness, both interior and exterior, to provide a comfortable, hygienic, and pleasant environment for all passengers.
  • Maintain clear, concise, and professional communication with the dispatch office, reporting status, location, availability, and any on-road incidents, accidents, or delays promptly.

  • Offer knowledgeable assistance to passengers, particularly tourists, by providing information on local landmarks, hotels, restaurants, and points of interest when requested.

  • Adhere to all local and state licensing and regulatory requirements for taxi operators, maintaining all necessary permits and certifications in good standing.
