Primary Functions
Teacher Development & Mentorship
- Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and intensive coaching to a team of teachers, focusing on the enhancement of instructional practices and professional growth.
- Conduct regular, formal, and informal classroom observations to provide constructive, evidence-based feedback on teaching methodologies, classroom management, and student engagement.

- Analyze student assessment data (formative, summative, and standardized) to identify achievement trends, inform instructional decisions, and develop targeted intervention or enrichment strategies.
- Lead initiatives to integrate educational technology effectively and meaningfully into the curriculum to enhance learning experiences and improve student outcomes.
- Ensure that instructional practices are inclusive, equitable, and culturally responsive, supporting the academic and social-emotional development of every student.
- Stay current with cutting-edge educational research, pedagogical trends, and instructional best practices to serve as an expert resource for the entire teaching staff.
Administrative & Operational Leadership
- Actively participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection process for new teaching staff, ensuring the hiring of high-quality, mission-aligned educators.
- Manage the formal teacher evaluation process, including setting professional goals, collecting evidence of practice, and writing comprehensive performance reviews in accordance with organizational policy.
- Address and resolve parent, student, and staff concerns in a timely, empathetic, and professional manner, fostering positive and collaborative relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies related to education, student safety, and data privacy.
- Assist the Principal or Director in the strategic development and management of budgets related to instructional materials, professional development, and educational technology.
