Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Performance Management and Coaching: Continuously monitor and evaluate individual and team performance against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing consistent, constructive feedback and implementing personalized coaching plans to foster development and address performance gaps.
  • Daily Operational Oversight: Direct and coordinate the daily activities of the team, ensuring proper resource allocation, task prioritization, and workflow management to meet service level agreements and production deadlines.
  • Team Motivation and Engagement: Cultivate a positive, collaborative, and high-energy team culture by recognizing achievements, promoting open communication, and addressing team concerns to maintain high levels of morale and engagement.
  • Training and Development: Oversee the comprehensive onboarding and training process for new team members and facilitate ongoing skill development for existing staff, ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to excel.
  • Conflict Resolution and Escalation Handling: Act as the first point of contact for complex issues, customer complaints, or interpersonal conflicts within the team, investigating root causes and facilitating effective resolutions with professionalism and empathy.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Uphold and enforce all company policies, safety protocols, and quality standards, conducting regular audits and checks to ensure the team's output consistently meets required specifications.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present regular performance reports, dashboards, and summaries to senior management, clearly communicating team progress, challenges, and proposed solutions.
  • Goal Setting and Strategic Alignment: Translate departmental objectives into clear, actionable, and measurable daily and weekly goals for the team, ensuring every member understands their contribution to the bigger picture.
  • Workforce and Schedule Management: Develop and manage team schedules, approve time-off requests, and monitor attendance and punctuality to ensure adequate coverage and operational readiness at all times.
  • Process Improvement Identification: Actively observe team workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or opportunities for improvement, and propose practical solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Conducting Team Meetings: Plan and lead regular team huddles, stand-ups, and meetings to disseminate important information, review performance, and facilitate collaborative problem-solving.
