Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

Interpret complex engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, material specifications, and schematics to produce technically accurate and visually engaging illustrations.
Create detailed isometric, perspective, and exploded-view illustrations of mechanical and electrical assemblies for use in comprehensive technical manuals and guides.
Collaborate directly with engineers, technical writers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather requirements and ensure the absolute accuracy of visual content.
Develop clear and concise assembly, installation, and disassembly sequences that guide end-users through complex procedures safely and efficiently.
Utilize specialized software like PTC Creo Illustrate or SolidWorks Composer to repurpose 3D engineering data into rich 2D and 3D technical illustrations and animations.
Master the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to refine, retouch, and prepare illustrations for both print and digital publication.

Strictly adhere to established corporate branding guidelines, departmental style guides, and relevant industry standards (e.g., S1000D) to ensure consistency across all documentation.
