Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Act as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our solutions, partnering closely with account executives to drive the sales cycle forward.
  • Lead in-depth discovery sessions with prospective clients to meticulously uncover, understand, and document their business challenges, technical environments, and strategic objectives.
  • Design, build, and deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs) that directly address a prospect's critical business issues and technical requirements.
  • Articulate the company's unique value proposition and technological advantages with confidence and clarity to a wide range of audiences, from C-level executives to hands-on engineers.
  • Architect and propose robust, scalable technical solutions by mapping customer needs to product capabilities, ensuring a viable and effective implementation path.
  • Author detailed, persuasive, and technically accurate responses to formal requests such as Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and security questionnaires.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical objections and concerns from prospects throughout the evaluation process, building trust and mitigating potential deal-killers.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key technical champions and decision-makers within prospective and existing customer accounts.
  • Serve as the crucial liaison between the sales team and internal departments, including Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing, to provide valuable market feedback.
  • Translate customer feedback and market intelligence into actionable insights to help influence the product roadmap and future development priorities.
  • Maintain an expert-level understanding of the company's product portfolio, new features, and underlying technology architecture.
  • Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of the competitive landscape, effectively differentiating our solutions based on features, performance, and overall value.
  • Support and guide channel partners by providing them with the necessary technical training, sales tools, and collaborative support for joint-selling opportunities.
  • Strategically manage and prioritize a pipeline of sales opportunities from a technical standpoint, ensuring efficient use of resources to maximize win rates.
  • Lead and document technical validation events, such as on-site or remote proof-of-concept engagements, to ensure all success criteria are met and formally accepted by the client.
  • Create and maintain a library of reusable technical assets, including demonstration scripts, presentation decks, best practice guides, and RFP response templates.
  • Travel to customer sites, industry conferences, and trade shows to represent the company, generate leads, and engage with the technical community.
  • Provide a smooth pre-sales to post-sales handover to the implementation or customer success teams, ensuring a consistent and positive customer experience.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for the broader sales team to elevate their technical knowledge and ability to identify qualified opportunities.
  • Continuously develop personal and professional skills to stay at the forefront of relevant industry trends, emerging technologies, and consultative selling techniques.
