Primary Functions

  • Develop, write, and edit high-impact, engaging content across a multitude of platforms, including websites, long-form blog articles, social media updates, email marketing campaigns, and digital ad copy.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics, competitor activities, and audience interests to produce well-researched, authoritative, and factually accurate content.

  • Implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices within all written content, including strategic keyword integration and on-page optimization, to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic.
  • Interpret creative briefs and strategic requirements to develop compelling narratives and persuasive copy that effectively communicates brand messaging and resonates with the target audience.
  • Proofread and meticulously edit content produced by yourself and other team members to guarantee clarity, consistency, correct grammar, and adherence to the established brand style guide.
  • Manage a dynamic content calendar and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, often juggling multiple writing projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Analyze content performance using analytics tools to gather insights on user engagement, and use this data to refine content strategy and improve future results.
  • Interview internal subject matter experts, leadership, and external clients to gather unique insights for creating authentic thought leadership articles, case studies, and testimonials.
  • Master and adapt the brand's writing style and tone to suit different target personas, communication channels, and stages of the customer journey.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in content marketing, digital media, and SEO to continuously innovate and enhance the quality and effectiveness of the content produced.
  • Craft powerful headlines, subheadings, and calls-to-action (CTAs) that are designed to capture reader attention, encourage engagement, and drive conversions.
  • Repurpose and refresh existing content assets, updating them for accuracy and relevance to extend their lifespan and maximize their value to the organization.
  • Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the company's official voice, tone, and editorial style guide, promoting consistency across all public-facing communications.
  • Translate complex technical concepts, product features, and data into easily digestible, benefit-oriented language for a non-technical audience.
  • Write clear, concise, and user-friendly UX copy (microcopy) for digital products, including error messages, button labels, and instructional text to enhance the user experience.
  • Develop compelling scripts for various multimedia formats such as promotional videos, webinars, and podcasts, ensuring the spoken message is as powerful as the written one.
