Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Provide regular, documented clinical supervision to a team of therapists, counselors, and case managers, focusing on skill development, ethical practice, and professional growth.
  • Oversee the diagnostic assessment process and ensure the development of comprehensive, individualized, and evidence-based treatment plans for all clients.
  • Review, provide constructive feedback on, and co-sign clinical documentation (e.g., progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries) to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage and distribute clinician caseloads effectively, monitoring client-to-staff ratios to ensure high-quality care and prevent staff burnout.
  • Facilitate and lead clinical team meetings, case conferences, and group supervisions to promote collaborative problem-solving, shared learning, and consistent clinical approaches.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical escalations, providing direct crisis intervention support and guidance to staff during client emergencies.
  • Conduct formal performance evaluations and ongoing informal feedback sessions for supervisees, setting clear performance goals and addressing challenges constructively.
  • Actively participate in the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding process for new clinical staff, ensuring a strong cultural and clinical fit for the team.
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and service delivery metrics, utilizing data to identify trends, improve program effectiveness, and guide clinical practice.
  • Develop, implement, and deliver ongoing clinical training and professional development workshops for staff on topics such as new therapeutic modalities, documentation standards, and crisis management.
  • Ensure all clinical services are delivered in strict adherence to state licensure laws, ethical guidelines (e.g., NASW, APA, ACA), and payer requirements.

Education & Experience
