Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

Surface Preparation: Meticulously prepares installation surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and leveling floors and walls to create an optimal, stable foundation for tile application.
Layout and Design Interpretation: Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or client specifications to determine the most effective layout pattern, ensuring aesthetic goals and material efficiency are met.

Tile Setting: Carefully positions and sets tiles one by one, tapping them into place with a rubber mallet to embed them in the adhesive and create a uniform, level surface.
Grouting: Fills the joints between tiles with grout using a grout float, ensuring complete coverage, and then removes excess grout from the tile surface before it hardens.
