Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop, manage, and execute detailed social media content calendars across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) to grow our audience and foster community engagement.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end creation of compelling marketing collateral, including digital brochures, travel guides, and print materials, by liaising with graphic designers, copywriters, and external vendors.
  • Manage and regularly update website content via a Content Management System (CMS) like WordPress, ensuring travel itineraries, special offers, and blog articles are current, accurate, and optimized for search.
  • Assist in the planning and tactical execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, from initial brainstorming and asset coordination to tracking performance and compiling post-campaign reports.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) across digital channels, using tools like Google Analytics to provide actionable insights on website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates.
  • Craft, build, and schedule engaging email marketing campaigns, including promotional newsletters and automated journeys, utilizing platforms like Mailchimp or Klaviyo, and conduct A/B testing to improve key metrics.
  • Conduct ongoing market and competitor research to identify emerging travel trends, successful competitor tactics, and new opportunities for brand differentiation and growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and travel advisor partners to create sales enablement tools and ensure marketing campaigns are effectively driving leads and supporting booking goals.
  • Maintain and meticulously organize the company's digital asset library, ensuring all photos, videos, and testimonials are properly tagged and readily available for various marketing needs.
  • Act as a voice of the brand online by actively engaging with our community, responding to comments and messages, and addressing customer inquiries across social media and review sites.
  • Identify and support the coordination of collaborations with travel influencers, bloggers, and content creators, from initial outreach and negotiation to campaign tracking and relationship management.
  • Assist with the logistical planning, promotion, and execution of virtual and in-person events, such as travel expos, webinars for potential clients, and familiarization (FAM) trips for travel agents.
  • Support the management of paid media campaigns on platforms like Meta Ads and Google Ads by assisting with audience targeting, ad creative coordination, and monitoring budget spend and performance.
  • Write and edit captivating, on-brand copy for a wide range of marketing channels, including social media captions, blog posts, email subject lines, and website landing pages.
  • Liaise with destination partners, such as hotels, tour operators, and tourism boards, to gather marketing assets, align on co-operative marketing efforts, and ensure accurate representation of their offerings.
  • Research, build, and maintain media lists, and assist in the distribution of press releases and media kits to secure positive press coverage in travel publications.
  • Update and manage content for B2B channels, such as a travel agent portal, to ensure our professional partners have the resources they need to sell our trips effectively.

  • Assist in tracking the marketing budget, processing invoices from vendors and freelancers, and reconciling monthly marketing expenses.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Proficiency with social media management and scheduling platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later).
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing service providers (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Klaviyo).
  • Familiarity with updating website content using a Content Management System (CMS), particularly WordPress.
  • Competency in using Google Analytics to pull reports and analyze basic marketing performance data.
  • Foundational understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and on-page optimization techniques.
  • Strong proficiency with graphic design tools for social media, such as Canva; basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) is a significant advantage.
