Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Execute and manage daily cash positioning activities to ensure optimal liquidity across all corporate bank accounts, consolidating balances and forecasting short-term funding requirements.
  • Initiate and process electronic payments, including domestic and international wire transfers, ACH payments, and inter-company funding, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper authorization.
  • Prepare and analyze the company's short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts by collaborating with business units to understand drivers and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Act as a primary liaison for our banking partners, addressing operational issues, resolving transaction inquiries, and fostering strong professional relationships.
  • Monitor and manage the company's global bank account structure, including the opening, closing, and maintenance of accounts, and updating signatory lists and entitlements.
  • Support the management of the company's debt portfolio by tracking covenant compliance, preparing compliance certificates, and processing principal and interest payments.
  • Assist in managing foreign exchange (FX) exposure by gathering exposure data, analyzing market trends, and executing spot or forward contracts as directed.
  • Administer the Treasury Management System (TMS) and various online banking portals, ensuring data integrity and acting as a subject matter expert for the team.
  • Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reports for senior management, detailing cash balances, investment activity, debt status, and forecast-to-actual variances.
  • Manage the corporate card program, including overseeing account issuance, credit limits, and serving as an escalation point for employee inquiries.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements, particularly Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance for all treasury processes.
  • Analyze bank fee statements and account analysis reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend optimizations to our banking services and structure.
  • Support the execution of the short-term investment strategy for excess cash, monitoring investment performance and ensuring compliance with the investment policy.

Secondary Functions

  • Assist in the issuance and administration of letters of credit, standby letters of credit, and bank guarantees required for business operations.
  • Collaborate closely with Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams to streamline cash application processes and resolve payment-related discrepancies.
  • Prepare necessary schedules and provide documentation for internal and external audits related to cash, investments, and debt.
  • Participate actively in treasury-related projects, such as the implementation of new technologies, process automation initiatives, or banking system integrations.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and build financial models to support strategic treasury initiatives and decision-making.
  • Monitor financial markets, including interest rate and currency trends, to provide valuable insights and support risk management strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of treasury policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen internal controls.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel: Proficiency in complex functions, pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling is essential.
  • Treasury Management Systems (TMS): Hands-on experience with a TMS such as Kyriba, GTreasury, or SAP S/4HANA Cash Management.
  • ERP Systems: Familiarity with major ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite for financial data extraction and reconciliation.
  • Cash Management Principles: Deep understanding of global cash positioning, liquidity management, and various payment systems (Wire, ACH, SEPA).
  • Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Proven ability to build, maintain, and analyze cash flow forecast models.
  • Online Banking Portals: Experience navigating and executing transactions within platforms like J.P. Morgan Access, Bank of America CashPro, or CitiDirect BE.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:

  • Master's Degree in a related field or professional certification (CTP - Certified Treasury Professional).

Experience Requirements
