Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Review and process a variety of land development applications including site plans, subdivision plats, conditional use permits, zoning variances, and building permit referrals to ensure completeness and compliance with municipal zoning codes, subdivision regulations, and adopted design standards.

- Track permit timelines, vesting periods, expiration dates, and performance guarantees (bonds, letters of credit), and coordinate the release or renewal of financial assurances in accordance with policy.
- Support grant applications, planning studies, and transportation/complete streets projects by compiling supporting maps, data, scope descriptions, and deliverables to maximize funding success.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and visual materials for planning commission, design review boards, neighborhood associations, and other stakeholder meetings to clearly explain technical findings and recommended conditions.
