Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Lead end-to-end user experience design for complex features and product flows, from discovery and user research through interaction design, high-fidelity prototyping, handoff, and post-launch iteration, ensuring solutions meet user needs and business goals.
  • Plan, conduct, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research (interviews, contextual inquiry, usability testing, surveys, analytics) to generate actionable insights that shape product direction and design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, information architectures, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that clearly communicate functionality, behavior, and rationale to stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Design and maintain reusable components and patterns in a living design system (tokens, components, documentation) to accelerate product delivery, ensure consistency, and improve cross-team collaboration.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to define user-centered product requirements, success metrics, and prioritized roadmaps, ensuring design work aligns with measurable business outcomes and KPIs.
  • Facilitate design sprints, co-creation workshops, and cross-functional ideation sessions to align stakeholders, generate rapid concepts, and validate assumptions with users and data.
  • Conduct and moderate iterative usability testing (remote and in-person), synthesize findings into clear recommendations, and iterate designs to reduce friction and improve key metrics such as task completion, conversion, and NPS.
  • Architect accessible experiences (WCAG 2.1 AA or higher) by applying semantic HTML review, color contrast, keyboard navigation, screen reader considerations, and inclusive design patterns in collaboration with engineering.
  • Produce annotated design specifications, redlines, and acceptance criteria to ensure smooth handoff and implementation fidelity with engineering teams; participate in implementation reviews and QA.
  • Use product analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude) and A/B testing data to validate design hypotheses, measure feature impact, and prioritize iterative improvements based on quantitative signals.
  • Translate complex business logic and system requirements into simplified, intuitive interaction models that reduce cognitive load and optimize task flows for target users.
  • Advocate for customers and represent user needs during roadmap planning, stakeholder reviews, and executive presentations, using data, user stories, and design rationale to influence decisions.

  • Prepare and present design artifacts, research findings, and product demos to stakeholders and executives, clearly communicating the why, what, and how of design choices and expected impact.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging interaction patterns, tooling, and accessibility legislation to proactively recommend improvements to product strategy and design standards.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
