Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Accurately process, count, and verify large volumes of currency and coin from commercial deposits, ensuring strict adherence to client-specific instructions and bank processing standards.
- Prepare and consolidate currency and coin shipments for financial institutions, ATMs, and commercial clients, verifying orders for accuracy before dispatch.

- Maintain constant and detailed records of all vault activities, including deposits, shipments, and inventory levels, using both manual logs and specialized computer software.

- Identify and properly handle counterfeit currency and suspicious items according to federal guidelines and internal company procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment to meet daily processing deadlines and operational goals.
- Prepare daily reports and summaries of vault balances, transactions, and discrepancies for management review and auditing purposes.
- Receive and log incoming deposits from armored transport crews, verifying seals and manifest information against the physical shipment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts of all cash, coin, and other valuables to ensure alignment with system records.
- Fulfill customer change orders with precision, ensuring the correct denominations and totals are packed securely for delivery.
- Work efficiently and calmly under the pressure of constant video surveillance, knowing all actions are recorded for security and audit purposes.
- Manage and process ATM residual cash, reconciling it against machine reports and preparing it for deposit.
- Assemble and prepare ATM-specific currency cassettes, ensuring they are loaded accurately according to replenishment orders.
- Segregate and strap currency by denomination, ensuring it is fit for circulation and meets Federal Reserve standards.
- Adhere to all compliance regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and anti-money laundering (AML) policies, reporting any suspicious activity as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workspace to promote efficiency and safety within the vault environment.
