Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Proactively source and screen new investment opportunities through extensive networking with entrepreneurs, accelerators, universities, and other venture capital firms.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, including in-depth analysis of business models, market size, competitive landscape, technology, and management teams.
- Develop detailed financial models to assess valuation, project future performance, analyze potential returns (IRR, MOIC), and perform sensitivity analysis on key assumptions.
- Author and present detailed investment memorandums and recommendations to the investment committee, clearly articulating the investment thesis, key risks, and rationale for investment.
- Manage the deal flow pipeline using CRM systems (e.g., Affinity, Salesforce), ensuring all interactions and stages of evaluation are accurately tracked and reported.
- Actively participate in deal negotiation and structuring, working alongside legal counsel to review term sheets, shareholder agreements, and other transaction documents.
- Provide hands-on support to portfolio companies, assisting with strategic planning, future fundraising, key hires, business development, and go-to-market strategy.
- Serve as a board observer for select portfolio companies, attending board meetings and providing regular updates, strategic insights, and governance support to the partnership.
- Conduct deep-dive market research and trend analysis to develop and refine the firm's investment theses in key technology sectors like AI, FinTech, SaaS, and HealthTech.
- Build and maintain a robust network of industry experts, co-investors, and key opinion leaders to validate investment hypotheses and source proprietary deal flow.
- Monitor the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies, collecting and analyzing KPIs to track progress against milestones and identify areas needing support.
- Prepare quarterly portfolio reviews and valuation reports for internal stakeholders and Limited Partners (LPs), detailing performance and strategic outlook.

- Lead the initial screening calls and meetings with founders to make a preliminary assessment of their company's potential and fit with our fund's strategy.
