Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Design, develop, and continuously update comprehensive training curricula and materials for veterinary staff, including veterinarians, technicians, and support personnel, on topics such as new medical protocols, advanced diagnostic equipment, and practice management software.
  • Deliver engaging and effective training sessions through various formats, including in-person workshops at veterinary hospitals, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), webinars, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments in partnership with hospital leadership and staff to identify knowledge gaps, skill deficiencies, and specific training requirements to drive performance improvement and medical quality.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for specific medical devices, pharmaceutical products, or clinical protocols, providing in-depth knowledge and practical guidance to end-users in a clinical setting.
  • Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, such as R&D, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Sales, to ensure training content is accurate, aligned with brand messaging, and effectively supports new product launches and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement robust evaluation methods, including knowledge checks, practical skill assessments, and post-training feedback surveys, to measure training effectiveness, learner comprehension, and behavioral change.
  • Provide on-site, hands-on coaching and implementation support to veterinary teams during the integration of new technologies or workflows, ensuring a smooth transition and proficient adoption.
  • Create and maintain a library of enduring training resources, including e-learning modules, job aids, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and video tutorials, accessible through a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Mentor and develop peer trainers or newly onboarded veterinary professionals, fostering a culture of mentorship and knowledge-sharing within the organization or client practices.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements, emerging trends, and published research in veterinary medicine, adult learning theory, and instructional design to ensure training programs remain modern and impactful.

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
