Primary Functions

Spearhead the creation of detailed project budgets by meticulously breaking down scripts, storyboards, and client briefs to accurately assess the scope and complexity of visual effects work.
Collaborate intimately with Directors, VFX Supervisors, and creative leads during pre-production to define the artistic vision and establish a feasible technical and creative execution plan.
Manage the entire bidding process from start to finish, including generating precise cost estimates, preparing compelling and professional bid packages, and presenting proposals to clients and studio executives.
Serve as the primary, high-level point of contact for the client, fostering strong, transparent, and trusting relationships while expertly managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop, maintain, and own the comprehensive master project schedule, meticulously tracking all phases of production from asset creation and shot production to final compositing and delivery.

Generate and present regular, insightful progress reports for clients and internal studio leadership, providing clear, concise visibility into project status, key milestones, and overall financial health.
Negotiate and finalize contracts, statements of work (SOWs), and service agreements with clients, third-party vendors, and freelance artists to secure favorable terms and crystal-clear deliverables.
Diligently manage and track all client change orders, thoroughly assessing their impact on budget and schedule, and securing all necessary approvals before implementation.
Guarantee the final delivery of all VFX shots meets the exacting technical specifications, creative quality standards, and critical deadlines set by the client and post-production partners.
Cultivate a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture, actively mentoring and developing junior production staff such as Coordinators and Production Assistants.
Partner with technology, pipeline, and R&D departments to identify workflow enhancements, troubleshoot systemic technical issues, and advocate for new tools that boost efficiency and creativity.
Maintain and continually update a deep, holistic understanding of the entire VFX pipeline, from pre-visualization and asset development to FX simulation, lighting, and final compositing.
Act as the central information hub by facilitating crisp and effective communication between all key stakeholders, including the director, studio executives, editorial, and the entire internal VFX crew.
Assume full responsibility for the financial management of the project, including granular cost tracking, processing vendor invoices, and performing detailed cost analysis to ensure project profitability.
Lead the comprehensive project wrap-up process, which includes supervising asset archiving, conducting insightful post-mortems to capture lessons learned, and preparing final cost reports and summaries.
