Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Act as the primary point of contact and communication conduit between various teams, including development, QA, marketing, creative services, and external partners, to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Develop, maintain, and meticulously track comprehensive project schedules, release calendars, and content roadmaps, proactively identifying and flagging potential risks or delays to production leadership.
- Coordinate the end-to-end asset management pipeline, from initial request to final delivery, ensuring all creative assets (art, video, copy) are tracked, reviewed, approved, and delivered on schedule.
- Facilitate and document key project meetings, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and post-mortems, ensuring action items are captured, assigned, and followed through to completion.
- Support the Live Operations team by coordinating the deployment of patches, hotfixes, and in-game events, and by managing the schedule for store updates and promotional content.
- Manage and maintain the game's build submission process across all relevant platforms (e.g., Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo), ensuring all builds meet platform requirements and are submitted on time.
- Serve as a liaison to the Quality Assurance team, helping to triage bugs, prioritize testing efforts based on development schedules, and communicate status updates back to the core team.
- Oversee the localization process by coordinating with internal stakeholders and external translation agencies to ensure all in-game text and marketing materials are translated and implemented correctly.
- Aggregate and synthesize feedback from multiple sources, including community channels, playtests, and internal reviews, into concise reports for the development and production teams.
- Maintain and organize comprehensive project documentation within tools like Confluence or SharePoint, ensuring all teams have access to the most current information, specs, and roadmaps.
- Coordinate the planning and execution of internal and external playtesting sessions, including participant recruitment, scheduling, and gathering of initial feedback.
- Assist in managing the in-game store, including the setup of new items, promotional bundles, and pricing adjustments according to the live content calendar.
- Track and report on key project milestones and team velocity, providing regular status updates to producers and other stakeholders to maintain visibility on project health.
- Manage the flow of information for live incidents, ensuring that community, player support, and development teams are aligned on messaging and resolution progress.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate the timing and content of announcements, blogs, and social media posts to align with development milestones and game updates.
