Primary Functions

  • Conceptualize, storyboard, and script video projects in close collaboration with marketing, communications, and other internal stakeholders to ensure content aligns with strategic objectives and brand messaging.
  • Manage all phases of the production process, including pre-production planning, on-location and in-studio shooting, and post-production editing, ensuring a seamless workflow from start to finish.
  • Operate a range of professional video, lighting, and audio equipment, including DSLR/mirrorless cameras, cinema cameras, drones, gimbals, various microphone types, and lighting setups to capture high-quality footage.
  • Edit raw footage into compelling narratives, assembling shots, adding music, incorporating sound effects, and ensuring a logical and visually appealing sequence that effectively communicates the intended message.
  • Design and integrate motion graphics, title cards, lower thirds, and other visual effects using software like Adobe After Effects to enhance video quality and viewer engagement.
  • Direct on-screen talent, including internal staff, leadership, and external actors, providing clear guidance to elicit authentic and compelling performances that resonate with the audience.
  • Scout, select, and secure appropriate locations for video shoots, managing all logistical aspects including permits, scheduling, and accessibility.
  • Develop and manage detailed production schedules, call sheets, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
  • Perform advanced color correction and color grading to ensure a consistent, professional, and brand-aligned visual aesthetic across all video content.
  • Conduct audio post-production, including mixing, mastering, noise reduction, and sound design to create a clean, balanced, and immersive audio experience.
  • Oversee the setup and execution of live-streamed events, webinars, and virtual conferences, managing multiple camera feeds, graphics, and audio inputs for a flawless broadcast.
  • Maintain and organize a comprehensive digital asset library, implementing a logical system for cataloging raw footage, project files, and final exports for easy retrieval and future use.
  • Stay abreast of emerging video production technologies, industry best practices, and creative trends to continuously innovate and elevate the organization's video content strategy.
  • Optimize video content for various distribution channels, including social media platforms, websites, and internal portals, by creating different versions with appropriate aspect ratios, lengths, and captioning.
  • Ensure all video content strictly adheres to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and accessibility standards, including proper use of logos, fonts, and closed captioning.

Secondary Functions
