Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Design, develop, and implement engaging, standards-aligned curriculum and lesson plans specifically tailored for synchronous and asynchronous virtual learning environments.
  • Deliver dynamic and interactive live instruction using video conferencing platforms, digital whiteboards, and other collaborative online tools to captivate and educate students.

  • Maintain a consistent and proactive communication schedule with students and their parents/guardians regarding academic performance, progress, and any potential concerns.
  • Hold regular virtual office hours to provide one-on-one academic support, answer questions, and offer additional help to students as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze student performance data to identify learning gaps, differentiate instruction, and implement targeted intervention strategies for struggling students.
  • Adapt teaching methods, instructional materials, and learning activities to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with special needs and varying learning styles.
  • Manage the virtual classroom effectively, setting clear expectations for online behavior, participation, and netiquette to ensure a productive learning environment.
