Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Conceptualize, design, and produce a high volume of compelling, on-brand graphics, illustrations, and layouts for all digital marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, website banners, and paid advertising.
- Film, edit, and produce short-form and long-form video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and our corporate website, including tutorials, testimonials, and promotional videos.
- Manage the end-to-end process of photoshoots and video shoots, including sourcing talent, location scouting, scheduling, and overseeing on-set production to ensure assets meet creative briefs.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive visual content calendar in collaboration with the marketing and social media teams to ensure a consistent and strategic pipeline of assets.
- Uphold and enforce brand identity standards across all visual materials, acting as a brand steward to ensure consistency in typography, color palettes, logo usage, and overall aesthetic.
- Manage, organize, and maintain our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring all creative assets are correctly tagged, archived, and easily accessible to stakeholders across the organization.
- Collaborate directly with the social media team to create custom, platform-specific visual assets that are optimized for engagement and algorithm performance.
- Retouch, color correct, and edit photography to meet high-quality standards for use in both digital and print materials.
- Design engaging and visually appealing presentations, sales collateral, case studies, and internal communications materials that effectively convey key information.
- Stay current with the latest visual design trends, social media formats, and software technologies to continuously innovate and elevate our brand’s visual presence.
- Create and manage a library of reusable design templates and visual elements to streamline content creation and empower other teams to produce on-brand materials.
- Translate complex data and concepts into easily digestible infographics, charts, and other data visualizations for reports and marketing materials.
- Storyboard and mock-up visual concepts for campaigns and new projects, effectively communicating creative ideas to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
Secondary Functions
- Support the web team by creating and optimizing visual assets for the corporate website and landing pages to improve user experience and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with copywriters and content strategists to ensure a harmonious relationship between visual elements and written text in all marketing materials.
- Analyze the performance of visual content using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations to the marketing team for future creative strategies.
- Source and manage relationships with external freelancers, such as photographers, videographers, and illustrators, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- A/B test visual elements in digital ads, emails, and on landing pages to identify what resonates best with our target audience and optimize for performance.
- Ensure all visual content adheres to accessibility standards (e.g., sufficient color contrast, descriptive alt text) to provide an inclusive experience for all users.
- Assist in the visual design and production of materials for trade shows and events, including booth graphics, banners, and promotional handouts.
