Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel visual content strategy that supports brand and marketing objectives, from high-level campaigns to daily social media content.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team—including graphic designers, motion designers, videographers, and photographers—fostering their professional growth and creative potential.
  • Define, evolve, and enforce the brand's visual identity and guidelines across all customer touchpoints, including web, social media, email, advertising, events, and print collateral to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand experience.
  • Oversee the entire creative production lifecycle for all visual projects, from initial concept brainstorming and storyboarding to final asset delivery and performance analysis.
  • Direct and art-direct photo and video shoots, managing all aspects of pre-production, on-set execution, and post-production to deliver high-quality, on-brand assets.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Sales, and a C-Suite to translate business goals into compelling creative concepts and campaigns.
  • Manage the creative department's budget, resource allocation, and project timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard of quality.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new creative tools, bringing innovative ideas and approaches to the team and our content strategy.
  • Present and pitch creative concepts, strategies, and project outcomes to senior leadership, articulating the strategic thinking and creative vision behind the work.
  • Establish and manage relationships with external partners, including creative agencies, freelancers, production houses, and stock asset providers, to scale creative capacity as needed.
  • Champion a data-informed creative process, utilizing performance metrics and audience insights to evaluate content effectiveness and optimize future creative development.
  • Oversee the organization and management of our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to ensure all creative assets are easily accessible, properly tagged, and archived.
  • Lead high-level ideation and brainstorming sessions, cultivating a collaborative environment that encourages bold, innovative thinking from all team members.
  • Provide clear, constructive, and inspiring creative direction and feedback throughout the project lifecycle to elevate the quality and impact of the final output.
  • Ensure all visual content is optimized for specific platforms and adheres to best practices for accessibility, user experience, and engagement.
  • Develop creative briefs that are strategically sound, clear, and inspiring, providing the team with the necessary context and direction to produce effective work.
  • Partner with the UI/UX team to ensure a seamless and cohesive visual brand experience extends into our digital products and user interfaces.
  • Drive the creation of visually stunning and effective marketing assets, including digital ads, social media graphics, infographics, explainer videos, case studies, and sales enablement materials.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of our target audience, competitive landscape, and market position to inform a visual strategy that differentiates our brand.
  • Act as the primary brand steward for all visual communications, holding the team and the broader organization accountable for maintaining brand integrity.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Proven expertise in video and photo production, including art direction, shooting, lighting, editing, and color grading.
  • Deep understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, composition, and layout.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Jira) to manage workflows and team capacity.
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms and best practices.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:

Experience Requirements

Typical Experience Range: 10-15 years
