Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Conceptualize and create high-fidelity visual mockups, design specifications, and production-ready assets for our web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers to translate wireframes, user flows, and prototypes into polished and intuitive user interface designs.
- Develop and execute original visual concepts for digital marketing campaigns, including social media graphics, email newsletters, and promotional banners.
- Maintain and contribute to our evolving design system and brand style guides, ensuring visual consistency and coherence across all platforms and products.
- Participate actively in design critiques and brainstorming sessions, providing constructive feedback to peers and effectively articulating your own design choices.
- Design engaging icons, illustrations, and other graphic elements that enhance the user experience and align with our brand identity.
- Prepare and present your design concepts and solutions to internal stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and leadership.
- Assist in the creation of interactive prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and animation ideas for user testing and stakeholder reviews.
- Work with front-end developers to ensure flawless implementation of your designs, conducting visual QA and providing clear feedback.
- Conduct visual research, including competitor analysis and trend forecasting, to inform design decisions and inspire new creative directions.
- Create compelling visual assets for internal and external presentations, helping to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Explore and experiment with various visual styles and treatments to solve design problems in innovative and creative ways.
- Support the senior design team in all phases of the design process, from initial concept exploration to final pixel-perfect handoff.
- Manage and organize design files and assets logically within our shared libraries and project management tools (e.g., Figma, Notion).
- Adapt designs for various screen sizes and devices, demonstrating a strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Create and edit simple motion graphics or animations to bring user interfaces and marketing materials to life.
- Help craft the visual narrative for new product features, ensuring they are introduced to users in an appealing and understandable way.
- Revise and iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and technical constraints.
- Document visual design patterns, components, and guidelines for our internal design system library.
- Assist in preparing materials for user research sessions and synthesize visual feedback to inform design improvements.
- Take ownership of smaller design projects from start to finish under the guidance of a senior designer.
- Contribute to the team's creative culture by sharing inspiration, tools, and insights with your colleagues.
Secondary Functions
- Support ad-hoc design requests and provide visual assets for internal presentations and corporate communications.
- Contribute to the evolution of our visual design language and brand identity systems by identifying areas for improvement and experimentation.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to translate project requirements into intuitive and engaging visual experiences.

Required Skills & Competencies
Hard Skills (Technical)
- UI/UX Software Proficiency: Strong command of Figma is essential. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other tools like Sketch is a major plus.
- Visual Design Fundamentals: A solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout, grid systems, and visual hierarchy.
- Prototyping: Ability to create low and high-fidelity prototypes using tools like Figma, Principle, or ProtoPie to demonstrate user flows and interactions.
- Design Systems: Familiarity with the concept and application of design systems and component-based design.
- Illustration & Iconography: Skill in creating custom icons and illustrations that align with a brand’s visual style.
