Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Define, evolve, and champion the comprehensive visual strategy and brand identity system across all digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Lead the conceptualization and art direction for all creative projects, including major marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of designers, photographers, and videographers, fostering their professional growth and creative excellence.
  • Direct the end-to-end creative process for photo and video shoots, from concept development and storyboarding to on-set direction and post-production oversight.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce rigorous brand guidelines and visual style guides to ensure unwavering consistency and quality across the organization.
  • Collaborate intimately with cross-functional leaders in Marketing, Product, and Sales to translate strategic goals into powerful and effective visual solutions.
  • Present and articulate creative concepts, strategies, and design decisions to executive stakeholders, building consensus and securing buy-in.
  • Drive the visual storytelling for the brand, ensuring a cohesive and engaging narrative that resonates with our target audience.
  • Stay at the forefront of design trends, new media, and emerging technologies, continuously pushing the boundaries of our creative expression.
  • Oversee the visual design and user experience (UX/UI) of our digital properties, including the corporate website, mobile applications, and email marketing.
  • Review and provide final approval on all visual assets, ensuring they meet the highest standards of artistic and technical quality.
  • Establish and optimize creative workflows, processes, and systems to enhance team efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead and facilitate dynamic brainstorming sessions and creative workshops to generate novel ideas and solve complex visual challenges.
  • Manage the creative department's budget, including resource allocation, vendor negotiation, and freelance contractor management.
  • Guide the creation of compelling visual content for all social media platforms, tailored to each channel's unique audience and format.

Secondary Functions

  • Partner closely with the copywriting and content teams to ensure a harmonious integration of visual and verbal brand messaging.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback and career development plans for all direct reports on the creative team.
  • Identify, vet, and manage a network of external creative partners, including agencies, freelancers, production companies, and illustrators.
  • Analyze creative performance data and user insights to inform and iterate on future visual strategies and design approaches.
  • Act as a key advocate for a culture of creative innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the company.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Expert-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
  • Strong command of modern UI/UX principles and best practices for web and mobile platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience with digital design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • A sophisticated understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Proven experience in art directing photo and video shoots, including a strong grasp of lighting, composition, and post-production techniques.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems and creative project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira).
  • Solid knowledge of both digital and print production processes, materials, and specifications.

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
