Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Analyze the performance of all visual assets (videos, images, infographics, GIFs) across digital channels, including social media, email campaigns, websites, and paid advertising.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive A/B and multivariate testing strategies for visual elements to optimize key metrics like click-through rates, conversion rates, and time on page.
  • Create, maintain, and evolve detailed performance dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio) to communicate findings to marketing, creative, and leadership teams.
  • Translate complex data sets and analytical results into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives and actionable recommendations for the creative team to guide future content production.
  • Conduct in-depth competitive analysis, continuously monitoring rivals' visual marketing strategies to identify emerging trends, best practices, and new opportunities.
  • Partner with the social media team to analyze visual trends on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, providing data-backed guidance on what formats and styles resonate most with our audience segments.
  • Measure and report on the ROI of visual content marketing initiatives, connecting creative efforts directly to business objectives such as lead generation, sales, and brand awareness.
  • Establish, track, and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks for all visual content to create a standardized framework for performance evaluation.
  • Utilize web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to track user behavior and engagement pathways related to visual content on our website and landing pages.
  • Perform audience segmentation analysis to understand how different customer personas interact with and respond to various types of visual content.
  • Collaborate with the paid media team to analyze the performance of visual ad creatives, providing data-driven insights to optimize ad spend and campaign effectiveness.
  • Monitor brand consistency and visual identity across all marketing materials, using data to inform when creative refreshes or strategic pivots may be necessary.
  • Conduct qualitative analysis, including sentiment analysis of user comments and feedback on visual posts, to supplement quantitative data and gain a holistic view of audience perception.
  • Present findings, insights, and strategic recommendations in regular stakeholder meetings, effectively bridging the communication gap between data analytics and creative execution.
  • Manage and analyze data from our Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform to understand asset usage, lifecycle, and overall library effectiveness, identifying top-performing and under-utilized assets.
  • Develop predictive models to forecast the potential performance of new visual content types or creative campaigns based on historical data and market trends.

  • Support the content strategy team by providing data-driven insights that inform the editorial and visual content calendar.
  • Assist in the selection, implementation, and management of analytics tools and platforms, ensuring the marketing team has a best-in-class technology stack.

Required Skills & Competencies
