Primary Functions

  • Spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive visual merchandising strategies that align with seasonal marketing campaigns, product launches, and overall brand objectives.

  • Direct the end-to-end execution of all seasonal and promotional floorsets, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.

  • Analyze sales data, foot traffic patterns, and customer behavior reports to make informed, strategic decisions about product placement, store flow, and merchandising adjustments to maximize sales.
  • Manage the annual budget for visual merchandising, including props, fixtures, signage, and third-party labor, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and tracking all expenditures.
  • Collaborate closely with the central marketing, buying, and planning teams to ensure visual strategies are fully integrated with inventory levels, promotional calendars, and omnichannel campaigns.
  • Conduct regular, in-depth store visits and audits to evaluate the execution of visual standards, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide hands-on training and support to store teams.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive visual standards guide or playbook that serves as the definitive resource for all store teams on merchandising principles, fixture usage, and brand presentation.
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with external vendors for fixtures, props, graphics, and installation services, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of in-store visual assets, from concept and production to distribution, installation, and eventual removal or replacement.
  • Partner with store leadership and regional managers to address store-specific challenges and opportunities, adapting corporate directives to suit unique store layouts and market demographics.
  • Create compelling and innovative window displays that not only attract customers but also effectively communicate key brand messages and product stories.
  • Utilize planogramming software and space planning principles to optimize store layouts for customer flow, product visibility, and overall commercial productivity.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all visual marketing inquiries from the field, providing timely and effective solutions to emergent issues.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, competitor activities, and innovative visual technologies to continuously evolve the brand's in-store experience.
  • Develop and deliver engaging training programs and workshops for store associates and managers on the principles and techniques of effective visual merchandising.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by testing new visual concepts, gathering feedback from the field, and using performance data to refine future strategies.
