Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract a diverse and dedicated pool of volunteers, utilizing online platforms, community events, and corporate partnerships.
  • Design and conduct thorough screening, interviewing, and onboarding processes to ensure volunteers are well-matched to roles that suit their skills and passions.
  • Create, refine, and deliver engaging orientation sessions and ongoing training modules that fully equip volunteers with the knowledge and skills needed for their roles.

  • Meticulously maintain the volunteer database or CRM system, ensuring accurate records of volunteer information, hours, and contributions for reporting and communication purposes.
  • Design and implement a meaningful volunteer recognition program, including formal awards, appreciation events, and informal acknowledgements to celebrate and retain top talent.
  • Develop and update clear, compelling volunteer position descriptions in collaboration with department heads to accurately reflect organizational needs and opportunities.
  • Proactively build and nurture relationships with local businesses, educational institutions, and community groups to create a strong pipeline for volunteer recruitment and partnerships.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the volunteer program by collecting feedback, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and preparing detailed impact reports for leadership.
  • Address and mediate any volunteer-related issues or conflicts with professionalism and empathy, ensuring a fair and respectful resolution process.
  • Oversee risk management protocols related to volunteer activities, ensuring all volunteers are aware of and compliant with safety procedures and organizational policies.
  • Serve as an enthusiastic ambassador for the organization at community fairs, networking events, and speaking engagements to promote volunteer opportunities.
  • Develop and manage communication channels for volunteers, such as newsletters, email updates, and social media groups, to keep them informed and engaged.

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
