Primary Functions

  • Design, develop, and continuously update comprehensive training curricula, instructional materials, and learning aids tailored to diverse audiences, including new volunteers, staff, and community partners.

  • Create, administer, and analyze post-training evaluations and feedback mechanisms to rigorously assess the effectiveness of learning programs and drive a cycle of continuous improvement.
  • Provide constructive, one-on-one coaching and mentorship to individuals, reinforcing key concepts from training sessions and supporting their successful integration into their roles.

  • Play a key role in the volunteer onboarding journey by delivering foundational orientation sessions covering the organization's mission, vision, values, policies, and key procedures.
  • Develop and implement "train-the-trainer" programs to build the facilitation skills of other key volunteers and staff, thereby scaling the organization's training capacity.
  • Customize existing training modules to address the specific needs of different departments, projects, or community partners, ensuring relevance and immediate applicability.
