Primary Functions

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for web content authors, moderators, and annotators that cover brand voice, editorial standards, SEO best practices, metadata tagging, and accessibility (WCAG) compliance.
  • Create and maintain clear, version-controlled content guidelines, annotation manuals, and style guides that translate company and product requirements into actionable rules for contributors and annotators.

  • Lead live and recorded training sessions (virtual and in-person), workshops, and office hours to coach writers, content curators, and labeling teams on complex editorial decisions and edge cases.
  • Design and operate quality assurance programs including spot checks, full reviews, and inter-annotator agreement (IAA) measurements to monitor and improve content labeling and editorial accuracy.
  • Build and maintain evaluation rubrics, QA scorecards, and KPIs (e.g., error rates, IAA, time-to-publish, SEO performance metrics) and report findings to stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to define annotation schema and taxonomies used for supervised machine learning, fine-tuning, and content personalization models.
  • Create and manage test datasets and gold-standard corpora for training, model evaluation, and annotator calibration exercises.
  • Provide hands-on annotation, adjudication and escalation support for complex or ambiguous web content items and ensure tight feedback loops between annotators and guideline authors.
  • Implement and administer annotation and content training platforms such as Labelbox, Scale AI, Prodigy, Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth, or proprietary tools; advise on tooling improvements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional reviews with SEO, UX, legal and localization teams to ensure content training addresses compliance, cultural nuance and global market requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze the impact of training on web content performance—search visibility, click-through rates, conversions, moderation accuracy and model performance—and iterate training accordingly.
  • Manage content training schedules, cohort assignments, and capacity planning for annotation projects and content refresh campaigns.
  • Develop micro-learning assets (cheat sheets, FAQs, short videos, annotated examples) optimized for search and discoverability inside the CMS and internal knowledge base.

  • Support localization and internationalization training: guide translators and local content teams on preserving brand voice, adapting SEO terms, and respecting local regulations and cultural context.
  • Collect and synthesize feedback from trainers, annotators and business stakeholders to prioritize guideline improvements, tooling changes and future training topics.
  • Lead or participate in hiring, interviewing and skills assessments for content reviewers, annotators, and training staff to maintain high team quality.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise in content trends, SEO algorithm updates, content moderation practices, and annotation methodologies, and update training content accordingly.
