Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Lead day-to-day website operations and release management, coordinating cross-functional teams (developers, designers, content strategists, SEO, and QA) to ensure on-time, high-quality deployments across public and private web properties.

  • Implement and maintain web accessibility (WCAG) standards across templates and content; coordinate audits, remediation plans, and accessibility training to ensure legal compliance and inclusive user experience.
  • Own front-end quality and consistency by establishing component libraries, style guides, and design system governance that reduce rework and speed up feature delivery.
  • Coordinate SEO technical workstreams — crawlability, structured data, canonicalization, hreflang, meta management — and collaborate with SEO specialists to implement prioritized fixes and measure organic performance gains.
  • Oversee tag management and analytics governance, ensuring correct event tracking, data layer standards, and accurate reporting in Google Analytics / GA4, Adobe Analytics, or equivalent platforms.
  • Triage production incidents, lead incident response for website errors and outages, coordinate hotfixes and post-incident reviews, and drive preventative actions to reduce recurrence.
  • Manage security hardening for web applications in partnership with security and infrastructure teams — enforce HTTPS, CSP, vulnerability patching, input validation, and third-party script review processes.
  • Plan and execute A/B tests and CRO experiments with Product and Marketing; define hypotheses, implement test variants, and analyze outcomes to inform UX and conversion-focused changes.
  • Partner with infrastructure and DevOps to maintain scalable environments, CI/CD pipelines, containerization strategies, and release orchestration that minimize deployment risk and accelerate delivery.
  • Conduct technical and content QA for major releases, including cross-browser and device compatibility testing, content validation, link checks, and functional end-to-end flows for critical user journeys.
  • Maintain documentation for runbooks, release notes, architecture diagrams, troubleshooting guides, and onboarding materials to reduce knowledge silos and accelerate new hire ramp-up.
  • Prioritize and manage the web backlog, translate stakeholder requests into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and work with Product or Project Management to scope sprints and plan releases.
  • Manage vendor relationships for third-party integrations, plugins, CDN providers, and agency partners; evaluate proposals, monitor SLAs, and coordinate contract renewals and escalations.
  • Monitor key website KPIs (uptime, page load time, conversion rates, organic traffic, bounce rate) and present actionable insights and monthly performance dashboards to digital leadership.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication between Marketing, Product, IT, Legal, and Compliance to ensure web initiatives align with marketing campaigns, policy requirements, and regulatory constraints.
  • Lead localization and internationalization efforts for multilingual sites — coordinate translation workflows, review locale-specific content, and implement hreflang and language routing best practices.
  • Drive continuous process improvement by implementing QA automation, release automation, and standardized testing frameworks to increase deployment cadence while maintaining quality.

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
