  • Prepare detailed technical reports, capacity plans and executive summaries that translate technical findings into prioritized business recommendations for product, operations and senior management stakeholders.
  • Work with inventory, OSS/BSS and field teams to validate site configurations, physical site parameters (antenna type, azimuth, height) and wiring for discrepancies impacting RF performance.
  • Run Monte Carlo and stochastic simulations or link-level analyses to quantify outage probability, coverage reliability and probability of dropped calls under varying load scenarios.
  • Implement and maintain automated test scripts and data pipelines (basic Python/R, shell scripting) to standardize drive test post-processing, KPI extraction, and anomaly detection workflows.
  • Collaborate with RF vendors and subcontractors to schedule network changes, perform software updates and ensure that vendor-delivered fixes address underlying RAN performance issues.
  • Support spectrum refarming and band reconfiguration projects by assessing impact on legacy services, planning guard bands and coordinating test windows to minimize customer impact.
  • Lead root cause investigations for systemic issues such as inter-site interference, cross-polarization mismatch, feeder degradation and faulty RF hardware; coordinate remedial field actions and follow-up verification.
  • Participate in site acquisition and pre-build surveys to validate radio feasibility, perform link budget checks and provide input on backhaul capacity and physical constraints.
  • Assist customer care and field teams by translating customer complaints into reproducible RF test cases, validating whether issues are device, coverage or core-related and driving resolution.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of LTE and 5G NR protocol stacks, release notes, vendor feature guides and industry best-practices to inform continuous improvement and keep optimizations aligned with current standards.
  • Support network rollout and integration testing for new sites and technologies; execute acceptance test plans, KPI baselines and handover to operations with documentation and known-issue lists.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce mean time to detect/resolve performance incidents by improving monitoring thresholds, automating common fixes and establishing playbooks.

Secondary Functions
