- Arrange music and prepare accurate chord charts, vocal parts, and rehearsal tracks; transcribe or adapt songs as needed to suit the congregation’s instrumentation and vocal range.
- Lead and manage weekly rehearsals and sound checks, teaching dynamics, vocal technique, and ensemble communication so the band supports congregational singing rather than performance.

- Oversee audio and live-stream production for worship services by coordinating with sound engineers and production volunteers; ensure clarity of vocals and instruments for both in-person and online attendees.

- Conduct regular assessments of congregational engagement and worship effectiveness, using feedback, attendance patterns, and leadership input to iterate and improve the worship experience.
- Serve as a visible leader in the life of the church—participate in staff meetings, contribute to the church’s mission planning, and represent the worship ministry in volunteer recruitment and pastoral initiatives.
- Handle stage management, set-up and tear-down logistics, musical instrument maintenance, and storage organization to ensure equipment is service-ready and safe for volunteers.
- Prepare and lead worship for funerals, weddings, baptisms, and other pastoral care events as requested, tailoring music and leadership for sensitive contexts.
- Facilitate healthy team culture by resolving conflicts, encouraging collaboration, and celebrating milestones, ensuring volunteers feel valued, trained, and spiritually nurtured.
- Collaborate with children’s and youth ministries to provide appropriate worship experiences for multisite and intergenerational services, including coordinating song selection and volunteer involvement for younger participants.
- Maintain strong communication with the congregation and volunteers through weekly emails, rehearsal notes, song charts, and digital platforms to ensure clarity of expectations and schedules.
